Francis Bacon was known for his emotionally charged and raw imagery. In the aftermath of the second world war he gained the reputation of a uniquely bleak chronicler of the human condition.

Francis Bacon was known for the Baconian method or scientific method. His method is still used by scientists today. The Baconian Method was divided into steps : Ask a question, Do background research, make a hypothesis, test your hypothesis with experiments, analyze the data, make a conclusion, communicate your results and if it doesn't work, refine your hypothesis.
