A single die has six faces each with a number from 1-6 that is only used once. What is the probability of rolling a number less than 5?

So, to find the probability of a number or numbers, you need the number of favorable outcomes, which in your case are numbers less than 5, over the total number of possible outcomes, which are the numbers 1-6. So numbers less than 5 on a die are 1,2,3, and 4. So that is 4 outcomes over 6 possible outcomes. So it would be 4/6. And you can simplify each number by 2 since they both have a factor of 2 and get 2/3. Hope this helps.
