so 8 divided by 3=8/3
we can split it into
8/3=3/3+3/3+2/3=1+1+2/3=2+2/3
answer is 2 and 2/3 feet long
if you want it in inches
8 times 12=96
96/3=32
32 inches
2 and 2/3 feet or 32 inches
