Factors of 52 = 1, 2, 4, 13, 26, 52.
The greatest factor of 52 that is a prime number is 13.

so find the prime factors of 52 and order them in order of smalest to biggest
52/2=26
26/2=13
factored form of 52=2 times 2 times 13
order
2,2,13
13 is biggest
answer is 13
