Let the expression = x

x = [ ( 2 X 7 ) + 2] / 7 - [ ( 1 X 3 ) + 1 ] / 3
= [ 14 + 2 ] / 7 - [ 3 + 1 ] / 3
= 16 / 7 - 4 / 3
= ( 48 - 28 ) / 21
= 20 / 21 Answer.. :)

2(2)/(7)-1(1)/(3)\\\\find\ LCD((2)/(7);(1)/(3))\\\\the\ list\ of\ multiples\ of\ 7:\ 0;\ 7;\ 14;\ \fbox{21};\ 28;...\\the\ list\ of\ multiples\ of\ 3:\ 0;\ 3;\ 6;\ 9;\ 12;\ 15;\ 18;\ \fbox{21};\ 24;...\\\\LCD((2)/(7);\ (1)/(3))=21\\\\(2)/(7)=(2*3)/(7*3)=(6)/(21)\\(1)/(3)=(1*7)/(3*7)=(7)/(21)\\-------------------

2(2)/(7)-1(1)/(3)=2(6)/(21)-1(7)/(21)=1(21+6)/(21)-1(7)/(21)=1(27)/(21)-1(7)/(21)=\boxed{(20)/(21)}
