He missed 26 times. First you do 6 divided by 7 times 100 to get 86(rounded). Then you do 30 divided by 100 to get .3 times the 86 to get 26.

goals=30
the ratio is 6 units to 7 units
goals=6 units
goals=30
30=6 uints
divide by 6
5=1 unit
so miss=7 units
5 per unit times 7 units=35
answer is 35 miss
