Is there a none of yhe above answer? The difference between an English and Italian sonnet is that the turning point if the poem is at different places. With English, the turning point is in the ninth line, and with Italian it is in the eleventh. So yeah.

and italian sonnet has 8 lines and six lines
an english has 4 and two.
both have 14 line though
