Soliloquy coming from Latin ‘solo’ meaning "to oneself" and ‘loquor’ meaning to "I talk" is one of drama devices that portrays a character speaking to himself or herself sharing his or her thoughts and feelings through the audience, it is different than monologue because monologues addresses the other characters in short conversation or comments while the soliloquy talks to the audience without the other characters, it is longer and more meaningful as the character tries to relate himself in the audience’s perspective.
