Answer:

The answer is in fact "B."

Step-by-step explanation:

B-29 aircrafts could reach such as high altitude that the Japanese could not reach with their planes. Even if the Japanese could reach that altitude, the aircraft was too fast. This allowed for an easy passage to attack Japan without much conflict.

It was the B-29 bomber. These new planes were used by the Americans to launch bombing raids on Japan. It was utilized by General Curtis Le May who increased the bombing activity that destroyed much of the Japanese island. Le May bombed Japan day and night. Though the plane was a high-altitude strategic bomber, it did well in carrying out low-altitude incendiary bombing missions. The Japanese were helpless as the planes unloaded bombs continuously. The plane was also used to drop the atomic bomb at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
