If you would like to calculate 3 1/3 + (-2 1/4) + 1 5/6, you can do this using the following steps:

3 1/3 + (-2 1/4) + 1 5/6 = 10/3 - 9/4 + 11/6 = 40/12 - 27/12 + 22/12 = 35/12 = 2 11/12

The correct result would be 2 11/12.
