Well first you have to figure out how many feet are in a yard. Answer is 3 then minus 3/4 or 75% which will give you 2.25 feet. Then do
1 / 2 of (2.25 feet) = 1.125 feet.

Answer:

(3)/(8) yards

Explanation:

Length of the piece of the ribbon =
(3)/(4) yards

Nora will use
(1)/(2) of it to make a bow

i.e
(1)/(2) of
(3)/(4)

Now the actual length of the ribbon will she use for the bow can be calculated as :

=
(1)/(2) *(3)/(4)

=
(3)/(8)

Therefore, the length of the ribbon will she use for the bow =
(3)/(8) yards
