-2(x + 3y = -1) = -2x - 6y = 2
2x + 2y = 6
-4y = 8
y = -2
2x -4 = 6
2x = 10
x = 5 (5,-2) i solved by elimanation bc im too lazy to do the other methods

Answer:

For this system x= 5 and y = -2

Explanation:

This are the system equation:

x+3y=-1\\2x+2y=6\\\\

Solving for x:

x+3y=-1\\

Replacing in the second equation:

2x+2y=6\\\\2(-1-3y)+2y=6\\\\-2-6y+2y=6\\\\-6y+2y=6+2\\\\-4y=8\\\\y=-2\\

Replacing this value of y in the first equation

x+3(-2)=-1\\x-6=-1\\x=-1+6\\x=5
