An algebra test had two parts. Part I had 40 problems, and part II had 60 problems. Bernard got 80% of the problems on part I correct and 90% of the problems on part II correct. What was the total number of problems that Bernard got correct on the test?

How do I figure this out?

An algebra test had two parts.
=> Part I had 40 problems
=> and part II had 60 problems.
Bernard got 80% of the problems on part I correct and 90% of the problems on part II correct. What was the total number of problems that Bernard got correct on the test.
Part 1
=> 40 problems and Bernard was able to answer correctly that 80% of it
=> 40 * .80 = 32 questions are correct
Part 2
=> 60 problems and Bernard was able to answer correctly the 90% of it.
=> 60 * .90 = 54 questions got correct answers.
