To find:-

The approximate area of the plot of grass after installing the fountain.

Now we find the area of square plot,

`14.5*14.5=210.25`

Now we find the area of semi circle. we get,

`\begin{gathered} (1)/(2)\pi r^2=(1)/(2)*(22)/(7)*2.5*2.5 \\ \text{ =}(11)/(7)*2.5*2.5 \\ \text{ =9.821} \end{gathered}`

So to find the area of plot grass after installing the fountain. we substract both the areas. so we get,

`210.25-9.821=200.429`

So the area of plot is 200.429 square feet.
