Kaiser Wilhelm tried to create the world’s greatest navy and sought expansion through colonization. He served as the Emperor of Germany from 1888 until the end of World War I. He dreamed of making Germany a powerful country having great economic power, major naval control, and colonial successes.

During his rule in World War I, he allowed his military advisers to impose German policies, causing a strained relationship with Britain, France, and Russia. He was a radical leader that to took charge of both the foreign and domestic policies of Germany. He abdicated his throne upon realization that Germany was losing the World War.
