-3\left(x+5\right)=-3\left(x+1\right)?

First, apply the distributive property to solve the parenthesis

(-3)x+(-3)5=(-3)x+(-3)1?
-3x-15=-3x-3

Add and subtract like terms:

-3x+3x=-3+15
0=12

The equation has no solution.
