Asbestos is a group of minerals naturally occurring in the environment in fiber bundles which can be separated into skinny, strong filaments. These filaments are heat resistant as well as to fire and chemicals and it does not conduct electricity. Because of this, it has been utilized in many industries. However it was banned because if asbestos are bothered, the filaments are released to the air and get trapped in the lungs which will stay for a long time. They will then bundle up cause damaging and swelling, which eventually, affects breathing to more serious health issues.
