$(10)/(19) =(x)/(48)\\\\Cross~multiply\\\\19x = 480\\\\Divide~both~sides~by~19\\\\ \boxed{\bf{x\approx 25.2631579 cm}}$

If it is 48 cm long, then it should be around 25 cm wide.
