Answer: D) Non random mating

In 1908, Hardy-Weinberg proposed that frequency of allele and genotype in a population remain constant from one generation to another only if population is stable and is in genetic equilibrium.

He gave five condition in order to keep the population in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. These are:

a) A large breeding population

b) Random mating

c) No change in allelic frequency due to mutation

d) No immigration or emigration

e) No natural selection
