The Solution:

Mason and his 4 kids is making 5 persons.

Each person ticket cost $14.

The total tickets cost for the 5 persons is:

5*14=\text{ \$70}

Each snack is $3, and 6 snacks are to be bought.

Amount\text{ spent on snacks}=6*3=\text{ \$18}

The total amount to be spent on his family is:

70+18=\text{\$88}

So, the total cost with 6 snacks is $88

The total cost with x snacks is 70 + 3x
