Why did Jews feel entitled to claim Israel as their nation following WW2?

1.) They had no play to go.
2.) They believed that God had promised them this land.
3.) They had the military strength.
4.) The United Nations had given them the land.

I think the answer is either one or two. Please let me know. Thanks for your time.

The Jews felt entitled to claim Israel as their nation following WW2 because they believed that God had promised them this land so indeed your hunch of two being the answer is/was correct.
