The sum of 3 decimal numbers is 6. Exactly one of the numbers is less than 1. What could those numbers be ??

The answer would be 0.5, how do we know? Well let's start focusing on the first 2 decimals that are greater than 1.

The only possible two decimals would be 2.25 and 3.25

2.25 and 3.25 = 5.5


Therefore we just add .5 to make it equal 6.
