Christian Humanism is an early sixteenth-century movement that applied humanistic methods to the study of Christianity. It emphasized Jesus' humanity, his social teachings, and his persistence to synthesize human spirituality and eliminate materialism. Basically, it encouraged humans to obtain principles that link to universal dignity, individual freedom and happiness as an essential tool to reach the same godliness that Jesus himself practiced and obtained through the course of his life.
Christian Humanism was the dawn of the union of Christian Ethics and humanist principles where humans are made in the image and likeness of God
