The product will be larger than 3 1/4, for you multiply 3 1/4 with a number larger than 1~

Well,

Obviously, any positive real number multiplied by a number greater than one will be greater than the original number.

Therefore, 3.25 multiplied by a number greater than one will result in a number greater than 3.25.

We can also say that the product will by x times greater than 3.25, or than the product is 3.25 of x, or vice versa.
