y = -4

y = -2x-20

Substituting the value of y from the first equation into the second equation, we get:

-4 = -2x - 20

-4 + 20 = -2x - 20 + 20 adding 20 at both sides

16 = -2x

16/(-2) = -2x/(-2)

-8 = x
