18 hours* ($108.75/ 15 hours)= $130.50.
(Note that the unit cancels out so you get the answer)

The final answer is $130.50~

To solve this problem, you would set up a proportion, letting x represent our unknown, or the amount of money she will earn next week.

108.75/15=x/18

Now we use cross products, or multiplying the numerator of one fraction by the denominator of the other and setting them equal to one another, to simplify.

(108.75)(18) = (15)(x)

When we multiply these integers, we get:

1957.5= 15x

Next, because we are trying to get the variable alone, we must divide both sides by the coefficient, or 15.

130.5=x

We found our answer!

Dalila will earn $130.50 if she works 18 hours next week.
