Momentum is calculated through p=mv
So, at 6ms^-1 its momentum is p=(2.5x10^2)x6 = 1500 kgm/s
At 28m/s its momentum is p = (2.5x10^2)x28 = 7000 kgm/s
7000-1500=5500, so the change in momentum is
5500 kgm/s
