What is the cost of 2.6 pounds of cheese, at $6.75 per pound

if one pound costs 6.75, then 2.6 will cose
6.75x2.6 = $17.55

Lets look at the info we have:-

2.6 pounds of cheese

MULTIPLY TO FIND D ANSWER:-

$6.75 × 2.6 = $17.55
2.6 pounds of cheese cost $17.55.

CHECK OUR WORK:-

17.55 ÷ 2.6 = 6.75
we were RIGHT!!

So, 2.6 pounds of cheese costs $17.55.
