For every 3 g of raisins, there are 5 g of sunflower seeds. This can also be expressed as that for every 8 g (3+5) there are 3 g of raisins and 5 g of sunflower seeds. So, the mass proportion of raisins is 3/8. 250 g * 3/8 = 93.75 g

Mass of the total pack of raisins and sunflower together = 250 gram
Mass of raisins:Mass of sunflower seeds = 3:5
Let us assume the common ratio to be = x
Then
3x + 5x = 250
8x = 250
x = 250/8
= 31.25
Then
Mass of raisins = 3 * 31.25
= 93.75 gram
So the mass of the raisins in the total package is 93.75 grams. I hope the procedure is clear enough for you to understand. Using this method you can always solve similar problems without taking any help from outside. Hope this helps.
