17.76 (in savings)+ 17.76 (the other half) + 14.48 (the CD) + 25 (charity) = $75

c- the cash amount that she received on her birthday
c-14.48-25.00 = A A represents the rest of the amount
A-A:2=17.76 / *2
2A-A=35.52
A=35.52
c-39.48=35.52
c=35.52+39.48
c=$ 75
