NERVES CORE formed by combining the root of the ventral horns coming out of the front of the dorsal sensory root extending from the dorsal horn. Cranial Nerves - 12 pairs. They extend symmetrically through the opening at the skull base. These nerves innervate the head, except for 10 and 11 Every nerve may be sensory, motor or mixed.

Function: receiving stimuli are responsible for memory and intelligence, stimulating muscle contraction head and neck allowing movement of the head, eyes, and tongue, and change facial expressions

These functions:
