We have an equation: 1.265/?= 55/100

Cross multiply:
55*?= 1.265*100
⇒ ?= 1.265*100/55= 2.3

55% of 2.3 is 1.265~

55% of 2.3 is 1.265

Convert your percentage into a decimal:

(55)/(100) = 0.55

Divide your decimal and 1.265:

1.265 / 0.55 = 2.3
