Cost of tickets for the night show = $9
Cost of tickets for the day = $6.75
So
Amount of discount for the day show = (9 - 6.75) dollars
= 2.25 dollars
Percentage of discount for the day show = (2.25/9) * 100
= (225/9)
= 25 percent
So 25 percent discount is their on the day show. This procedure should be clear enough for you to understand. In future you can always use this procedure for solving similar problems without requiring any help.
