Dividing a whole number by a fraction with a numerator of 1 is just the same with multiplying fractions by reciprocals, you need to invert the fraction, make the whole number into a fraction and multiply the reciprocal to get the quotient. For example, 4 divided by ½. Convert the whole number 4 into a fraction (4/1) and then invert the fraction 1/2 (2/1). Next, do multiplication (4/1*2/1) you will get a product of 8 which is equivalent to the quotient of the equation.
