We need to use the Point slope formula to find the slope so we label
(2 , -8);(-1 , 16) subtract
x1 y1 x2 y2. y2-y1/x2-x1
16-(-8)/-1-2 = 24/-3 = -8
meaning the slope of this line is (-8)
