Given data:

The given registration fees for preschool A is c=$40.00.

The given attendence fees for preschool A is a=$5.00/day.

The given attendence fees for preschool B is b=$7.50/day.

The total fees for school A is,

S_A=40+5x

The total fees for school B is,

S_B=7.5x

The cost of both preschool is same.

\begin{gathered} (40+5x)=7.5x \\ 40=2.5x \\ x=16 \end{gathered}

Thus, the option (C) is correct.
