if C = 100 degrees, then its Fahrenheit equivalent would be 482 degrees.

F = C x 9/5 + 32

C = 100

F = 100 x 9/5 + 32
F = (100 * 9)/5 + 32
F = 900/5 + 32
F = 450 + 32
F = 482
