⇒ -6-4= 2y
⇒ -10= 2y
⇒ -10/2 = y
⇒ -5=y
Final answer: y= -5

2y + 4 = -6
2y + 4 -4 = -6 -4
2y = -10
2y / 2 = -10 / 2
y = -5
