1,212 is NOT a prime number
.
If 1,212 were a prime number, 1,212 would only have two factors, which are 1 and itself. Since 1,212 has another factor other than 1 and itself (which is 2), 1,212 is not a prime number.
Hope this helps~

no. it is not a prime number.
a prime number is a number greater than 1 that is only divisible by 1 and itself. Example of a prime number is 2.
2 / 2 = 1 or 2/ 1 = 2.
1212 can be divided by 2, 3, 4, 6,.... It is not a prime number. Instead it is recognized as a composite number.
