Is the point (0,-7) on the x-axis or the y-axis?

(0,-7) is on the y axis i believe

think of how a airplane goes off. it goes forward first, then goes up. think about the letters in the alphabet as well. x comes before y. so if x comes before y, that means the 0 in your point is x. the -7 is y since y comes after x. So the point (0,-7) is on the y-axis.
