w^2+24w+23\text{ = (w+23)(w+1)}

Here, we want to factorizze the given expression

To do this, we will have to rewrite the mid-expression

We need two values of variable w which when added will give 24W and which when multiplied will give 23w^2

We have this as;

\begin{gathered} w^2+24w+23=w^2+w\text{ + 23w + 23} \\ =\text{ w(w+1) + 23(w+1)} \\ =\text{ (w+23)(w+1)} \end{gathered}
