Answer:

1 B) public schools, women's colleges, and new reading books.

because they are asking MID-1800s, were things got a lot better.

2 A) to create educated voters

they didn't want children to grow up and not know how to vote and who to vote for.

3 B) Women were expected to keep quiet in public.

this one was the only one that made since, plus that's what actuality happened in the 1800.

i took the test, at first i thought number 1 was answer A but it wasn't.

Based on prior knowledge and research now, I'm guessing 1. A.   2. A  and 3. B. I'm not sure if these are 100% correct, but I'd say that 78% is. Remember, this is based off of research I JUST did now, and prior knowledge. I hope I helped! :-)
