The Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster (Chernobyl accident) was one of the worst nuclear power plant accident recorded in history which happened on April 26, 1986 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The powerplant was situated in the town Ukraine, Pripyat and under the Soviet Union. The cause of the accident was of an explosion releasing huge quantities of radioactive particles into the atmosphere, spreading over the western USSR and Europe killing 31 workers , affecting 500,000 people in trying to contaminate the radiation and much more long term effects of mutation.
