Ok, what I do is double or do × 2 to the numerator and the denominator so since they already put the 10 as a denominator, I am going to see ___ ×2=10 and to figure that out I am going to see how many times 2 goes in to 10 so it goes in there 5 times so 5×2=10 and now, I am going to do the same thing with my numerator to find out what the ? equals to so 5 × 1 ( which 1 is the numerator of 1/2) equals 5, so 1/2 is equal to 5/10
