The club received good prices for the ingredients from the local stores, so each serving of nachos costs them only $0.50. The members plan to sell each serving of nachos for $1.25. What percent markup is in this price?

.75 / .50 = 1.50 * 100 = 150

150% is the percent markup of the price based on the cost.

Price : 1.25
Cost : 0.50
Mark up: Price - Cost = 1.25 - 0.50 = 0.75

0.75 / 0.50 = 1.50 * 100% = 150%
