5(R+2) -6
= 5R+ 10-6 (distributive property)
= (10-6)+ 5R
= 4+ 5R
The final answer is 5R+ 4

5(r+2) - 6
Apply the distributive property.
5*r = 5r
5*2 = 10
5r + 10 - 6
Combine like terms
10-6 = 4
5r + 4
Final answer: 5r + 4
