convert to hour
divide both sides by three to get
1/5 of a mile in 1/8 of an hour
multiply by 8
8/5 of a mile in 1 hour
1.6 miles per hour

We have an equation: (3/5 mile)/ (3/8 hour)= ?
⇒ ?= 8/5 miles/hour
⇒ ?= 1 3/5 miles/hour.
The final answer is
1 3/5 miles/hr
