The answer to a) is... 10n -7

Try it! The fifth number is 43... so n=5

Based on my answer (n x 10)-7... and n=5... (5 x 10) - 7... 50 - 7 = 43... so this is correct!

The answer to b) is 7n +1

E.g. 8 is the first number so n = 1

(1 x 7) + 1 = 7 + 1 = 8

15 is the second number so n = 2

(2 x 7) + 1 = 14 + 1 = 15

**************************************...

The answer to c) is 4n - 14

E.g. -10 is the first number so n = 1

(4 x 1) -14 = 4 - 14 = -10

-6 is the second number so n = 2

(4 x 2) -14 = 8 - 14 = -6
