Let x be the number of weeks it takes for Jon and Matt to have the same weight.
We have an equation: 148+ 2x= 193 -1x
⇒ 2x+1x = 193-148
⇒ 3x= 45
⇒ x= 45/3
⇒ x= 15
It takes 15 weeks for Jon and Matt to have the same weight
