What is the slope, and what is the y-intercept of the line?

y=1/2x-5

y-intercept=

This is very simple. The slope-intercept form of a line is y = mx +b
where m = slope and b = y-intercept.
Given y = ¹/₂ x - 5,
therefore the slope is m = ¹/₂ and the y-intercept is b = -5.
